How to care for a Water Pig?
The best way to take care of your Water Pig is to collect your kitchen/cooking water. You can use most of the water which would usually go down the drain and give it to you water pig in the garden. Don't worry if there are tiny pieces of food in it or if it is clouded from cooking rice. This is something not only your water pig loves also your plants will be happy with some extra nutrition.
Just be careful what else is in your water. Heavy chemicals, medicine and non ecological soaps can make your water pig sick. While its good to make sure you don't use heavy chemicals at all, a small trick is to have a bucket next to your sink to separate your really dirty water from the cooking water. The tasty cooking water you can throw in your garden for your water pig or if it is rice/pasta water or tea you can give it to a tiny water pig in your indoor plants.
